Baby Hiccups

My morning surprise...little baby hiccups...THE cutest thing ever!
Baby normally wakes me around the same time every morning but this morning instead of rolling and pushing around in Mama there they were...constant little hiccups that made my belly bubble up and down in the same pattern (I could actually rub what I think was Baby's back and feel each little gurgle :)).
SO darn cute! Oh how Mama loves these moments with you!

Sweet Baby at 7 Months

Our ultrasound was so much fun getting to see Baby again and having a big beautiful and HEALTHY baby smiling back at us. Dr. March took a wonderful photo of the Baby's sweet face. I can't wait to kiss those cheeks.

Beethoven, Mozart, and the ND fight song :)

Baby Leonardo's favorite evening is a quiet one where Mama relaxes in bed (typically typing papers for school :)) while he or she sits back and enjoys the soft sounds of Mozart, Beethoven, and without any doubt, the Notre Dame fight song!! :)

It was a tradition we began with Benjamin in utero and our newest little one is getting the same Irish pride even before he or she arrives. Your Papa sings with you so you can learn the words :) and he is most proud when you jab at him (and the head set) at all the right times.

Mother's Day

Everything is so special with you Sweet Baby.
Your big brother and your Papa made your Mama feel so special on Mother's Day 2011.

And your little love taps all throughout the day and night (especially during your favorite part of the day - when Mama was enjoying a very delicious brunch! :)) were the icing on the cake. Mama has perma grin thinking about next Mother's Day when you will be here with us in person to celebrate!

 Being a mother - Benjamin's Mama and YOUR Mama - makes my entire life complete. I love you!

My loveable, huggable, baby belly

Months 6-8 are truly my favorite belly time. The baby belly takes on such a life of its own and the size is so perfect. It's during these months that I can hug my belly before it grows to monster proportions :). And I find that that is exactly what I do ALL the time. Sometimes I don't even realize it...your Papa captured me talking to you and hugging "the belly".

Welcome Third Trimester!!

We've reached such a special milestone Sweet Baby! You and Mama have been together for 28 weeks and in only 10 more weeks you will be in my arms! Time sure is flying!!!
Mama reached a milestone nearing 150 lbs too :) which means you are growing right on track and promising some sweet, succulent baby cheeks ripe for the kissing :)
To say that Mama feels blissful is the understatement of the year...I love you so much and I love having you with me every second of every day! You make me laugh when you dance around so strong and when you try to push away the ultrasound piece.
I can feel your little hands pushing through to touch my own when we talk at night while we listen to music. You make me so happy my sweet little one.
Only a few more months to go! Keep growing strong and healthy.

You make me so beautiful!

My beautiful baby,
You not only make Mama so very happy but you make Mama beautiful! Mama has had SO many strangers approaching me from across stores, coming down the halls at school, or waiting in lines tell me that I am simply glowing - that I look very beautiful! How very special I feel; Mama doesn't make that kind of impression without your beautiful baby belly and the happiness you are giving me! It must all shine right through!
We even had to "turn down" a young man in the car next to us today who didn't notice your brother in the back seat...and the fact that Mama was most likely at least more than a decade older than him :) Hee hee!
Papa tells me you make me beautiful every day but clearly you have been given a gift to make others happy even while inside your Mama! And that makes me happy!!
